Ok, so this posting on a Sunday afternoon might be becoming a regular event…. I’m loving a bit of weekend crafting at the moment, and TGIF just keep knocking it out of the park with their challenges
This week was a slightly scary colour challenge….
However…. I have managed to make two cards with this combination! I know, I’m surprised too! You’ll have to be a Email Subscriber to see the other one, and it is my Email Tutorial for this week…. (you can subscribe at any time using this link – http://eepurl.com/2if59, or by following the link at the bottom of this post!)
I have to say, this colour combination was a little scary as I pulled the ink pads off of my Colour Caddy this morning… but I quite like my fun kids card! The other is slightly more grown up…. but I’m not saying any more than that!
The stamp sets at work here are Swirly Bird and Pop of Paradise…. both of which have been sat, unloved, on my stamp shelves for some time! I love the kite stamp in Swirly Bird, its so fun, and actually is two separate stamps, so the solid area could be a different colour to the stripy sections!
The card is finished with the sentiment from Pop of Paradise, punched out with the 1 3/8″ circle punch and matched with the very pretty Pretty Label Punch (which also has a hint of some stamping!) AND a near perfect (even if I do say so myself) bow in Crushed Curry Bakers Twine!
Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet today… and I hope to see you again soon
